A CREATIVE PORTFOLIO

My textile creations feature the joy of playing with colour, often using hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns, making each piece a one of a kind, sometimes wearable, piece of art.  I work on floor and rigid heddle looms, many different spinning wheels and spindles, and a vintage knitting machine connected to modern software.

I tend to prefer natural fibres, like high-quality merino wool with the sometimes additions of silk and other blended fibres. I use Canadian-spun cotton made in Quebec and an abundance of wools from Canadian manufacturers or my own hand-dyed and hand-spun yarns.
